Le bola de grossesse

The pregnancy bola

JOSEE BOILY

In Indonesian tradition, the bola was given as a first pregnancy gift to the mother-to-be. It was considered a lucky charm that protects both the mother-to-be and her baby. In Mexican tradition, the bola meant "call of the angels". Mayan legend has it that the soothing sound emitted by the pendant would call the guardian angel of the mother and her future child. This guardian angel would participate in the proper development of the child by ensuring his happiness throughout his life.

So I made a mala with natural stones of rose quartz, aquamarine, moonstone and clear quartz which, by their respective properties, will bring to the future mother all the benefits she needs during her pregnancy. To complete this very special mala, I added a pregnancy bola. The sound of the pregnancy bola helps to soothe the mother-to-be and connect with her future baby.

From the 6th month of pregnancy, the future baby becomes more and more receptive to the different sounds around him, which allows him to hear, among other things, the sound of your voice, but also the sound of your bola when you use it. After birth, your baby will recognize the sound of your mala and using it again for him will help your baby be calmer and will definitely reduce mom's anxieties.
